WOMEN'S CANOPY WORLD RECORD

High above the desert floor, 25 women gathered to do the seemingly impossible -- to break the long standing women's record of 16 parachutes flown together, linked up into a stack shaped formation. On April 17, 1998 they did it! Over a three-day period the record fell not once but 3 times. The women who hailed from 6 different countries broke the record by forming a 17-person diamond shaped formation. They then shattered that record with a 20-way diamond and triumphed the following day by demolishing their own record once again by flying a 25 way diamond into the history books.

Aerial footage, professionally lit ground interviews and still photographs available.
