According to the current season’s synopsis, “The 17th season of ‘America’s Got Talent’ returns with a new cast of budding artists looking to compete for the ultimate million dollar prize. Executive Producer Simon Cowell Returns in the star-studded jury with global fashion icon Heidi Klum, fan-favorite comedian Howie Mandel and acclaimed actress and international superstar Sofia Vergara. The dynamic Terry Crews returns as host. This season promises to deliver some of the craziest acts to ever grace the “AGT” stage.

Who is Celia Munoz?

Celia Muñoz is a ventriloquist and the winner of season 6 of “Got Talent Spain”. Muñoz began her career as an actress and worked with the theater company La Espada de Madera. She is a lyric soprano by training and a graduate of the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. Muñoz combines musical training with his ventriloquist act, creating a unique performance. She was trained by Gary Owen and Javi Jiménez, the doll manipulation director of the show “Los Guiñoles de Canal Plus”. Her unique style of ventriloquism is what led her to win season 6 of the Spanish edition of “AGT”, seeing that she sang an entire tune without moving her mouth.

Muñoza’s act was nothing short of awe-inspiring – she showed the judges ‘how ventriloquists get ready’ for a show, singing and making sound effects while brushing her teeth, putting on makeup and even drinking water . His performance earned him a standing ovation and the fans were equally thrilled. “When she drinks that water while singing and not moving her lips, that takes real talent. She’s probably the best ventriloquist I’ve ever seen on Got Talent.” writes a fan. “It’s actually really cool, most of the ventriquists I see use puppets, so it’s really surprising to me what she played instead,” added another. “Probably one of the most ingenious ventriloquist acts I’ve ever seen. A whole new level of illusion, awesome! So abstract I would never have thought of it!!!” says another.
