Jeff Dunham brings Walter for his “Seriously?” tour stop on October 3 at Tucson Arena.

Comic ventriloquist Jeff Dunham brings his group of wacky characters including Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Peanut and Walter to the Tucson Arena for a show on October 3.

This is part of his “Seriously?” to visit which opens July 10 in Washington state and will hit arenas and major theaters nationwide through next year, including several European dates.

His show in Tucson is one of two he will do in Arizona; he is also scheduled to play at Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott on October 2. Tickets for Tucson go on sale Monday, July 12 until Ticketmaster.com or the Tucson Arena Ticket Office; prices have not been communicated.

“Seriously?” comes after a year in which Dunham and his cohorts were forced to take time off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With all this free time, don’t be surprised if Dunham has found some new personality quirks for his characters and, we suspect (and hope!), More deviousness for the cranky Walter.

The show is one of many booked for the Tucson Arena, 260 S. Church Ave., as the city’s venues come to life after the pandemic. The sister venues of the Tucson Music Hall and Leo Rich Theater arena also have shows on the books, and the Rialto Theater and Fox Tucson Theater in downtown Tucson are filling their schedules until next spring.
