COLUMBIA – Darci Lynne, the youngest contestant to win NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”, will take the stage at the MU Capital Region Health Care Amphitheater on Friday, August 20 at 7 pm.
Lynne is a singer / ventriloquist who conquered America with her gentle character and undeniable talent. She is no stranger to the scene. In 2018, she kicked off her nationwide tour, selling her first family headlining show in just six minutes. Now Lynne is embarking on her 2021 National Tour “My Lips Are Sealed (Except When They’re Not)” traveling from New York to Nevada.
Her passion for ventriloquism stems from her shyness and the support of her family. In her younger years, Darci entered talent contests to become more confident. She quickly took part in talent shows in her home country and beyond.
Lynne’s experience is varied, ranging from performing on the Grand Ole Opry and starring in her own NBC Christmas special “Darci Lynne: My Hometown Christmas”. She has appeared on Nickelodeon shows such as “All That”, “The Substitute” and “Side Hustle”. Now she stars on her own Nick show “Unfiltered”.
Not only Lynne is present on stage on television but also on social networks. Darci lynne Instagram reached over 864,000 subscribers. On TikTok, she received 2.4 million followers and over 42.4 million likes.
