After David Barnea was installed as the new director of Mossad in June 2021, the Israeli intelligence agency pushed for an elaborate African strategy that hopes to bolster support for the Zionist state on the continent. Thus, in recent days, it has been reported that Mossad officials have met with Sudanese representatives, including instigators of the recent coup. The infamous Abdel Rahim Hamdan Dagalo, better known as Hemetti, who is a chief general of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), is said to have had discussions with Israeli delegates a few days ago. On the world stage, “Israel” has largely remained silent on the latest coup in Sudan, as commentators speculate that this is because the leaders are the most fortunate to continue the deal. “Normalization” planned with the Zionist state. Furthermore, it has been well documented that the Mossad has a continuing and relentless hand in the political affairs of war-torn Libya. Israeli strategic support for mass murderer and warlord Khalifa Haftar has only increased in the past two years, with Tel Aviv providing ample weaponry and training for Haftar’s mercenaries. Indeed, Haftar would have had numerous meetings with Mossad agents during the years 2017 to 2019, gatherings having taken place in Cairo on several occasions according to the Israeli journalist Yossi Melman. [4] More interestingly, the latest reports suggest that a Haftar private jet – a Dassault Falcon 900 P4-RMA – landed at Israel’s Ben-Gurion Airport after traveling from the United Arab Emirates. Early Monday morning, Israeli military correspondent for Kan 11 (Channel 11) Itay Blumental said via a Hebrew Twitter message that Haftar’s private plane had taken off from Dubai and was on its way to Tel Aviv. Blumental suggested the jet’s next stop was Egypt. It has been speculated that Israel’s allies such as the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, as well as representatives of the Mossad and the Israeli government, are preparing to push Libya into the so-called “normalization” stage with the Apartheid state of “Israel”. The speculation comes as Haftar announced in September his intention to run for the Libyan presidency later this year. [7]

“A business jet used by the men of Libyan General Khalifa Haftar (P4-RMA), who controls eastern Libya, is en route to Ben Gurion airport from Dubai. It will take off later for Egypt. General Haftar enjoys the support of Russia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, France and Israel. [5]
To prepare for his candidacy for the presidency, Butcher Haftar decided to suspend his military role for three months in order to concentrate his efforts on the presidential and legislative elections scheduled for December 24. [8]
In Sudan, Hemetti is one of the main instigators of the coup. He has a tarnished reputation for committing numerous crimes against humanity over the decades, with the transgressions listed including mass rape and murder. As the leader of RSF’s paramilitary forces, Human Rights Watch (HRW) warned in 2015 of serious violations with bloodstained hands Hemetti’s hands. A 38-year-old woman named Mahassan told HRW of her horrific ordeal when RSF troops attacked civilians in Darfur:
“[The government soldiers] confiscated our property. They took our cattle. They beat the men. And then they raped us. They gang raped us. Some women have been raped by 8 or 10 men. Seventeen women were raped together. We have all been raped. Even underage girls have been raped. [9]
Another woman from Golo – the same colony as Mahassan – described the horror of not only witnessing the death of her father at the hands of RSF men, but also the violation of his dignity. The same crime was committed against his two sisters.
Nur al-Huda told HRW:
“They killed my father. My father defended us so that we were not raped and he was beaten to death… After killing my father, they raped all three of us. Me and my two sisters… After raping us, they stole everything. [9]
While such accounts of rape and murder are hard to digest, they are likely not to worry the Israeli regime. Instead, the Israelis appear determined to push for the normalization of relations with Sudan. With such a development, they will be able to forge diplomatic relations and find another ally in a world that has already seen the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco establish bilateral relations thanks to the support of former US President Donald Trump. [10] Sudan made the decision to open an economic relationship with “Israel” on October 23 last year. In a statement released by Trump, then Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok and Sudanese Sovereignty Council Chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the group collectively said that they:
“… Have accepted the normalization of relations between Sudan and Israel and to end the state of belligerence between their nations… have agreed to start economic and trade relations, emphasizing initially on the Agriculture. The leaders also agreed that delegations will meet in the coming weeks to negotiate cooperation agreements in these areas as well as in agricultural technology, aviation, migration issues and other areas for the benefit of the two peoples. The leaders also decided to work together to build a better future and advance the cause of peace in the region… †[11]
Wasel Abu Youssef, a senior member of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), responded to this dramatic political change. He said the deal was “a serious stab in the back of the Palestinian and Sudanese people.” [12] It appears that the measures taken by the Sudanese army in recent days are only a continuation of the stabbed approach in the back.
