Now featured in the children’s section of the St Peter’s Street boutique, the book, based on the house turtle Albert, is Ian’s new venture 30 years after leaving the Herts Advertiser.

This is the second in the Albert the Turtle illustrated book series and follows Albert backwards, which was released in April.

After his stint at the newspaper, Ian became a screenwriter and television producer on shows like Top Gear, the south shore show and It’s your life, work with known names like Harrison Ford, Liam Neeson, Pierce Brosnan, Trevor McDonald, Martin Kemp, Simon Cowell, Floella Benjamin, Paul Whitehouse and YouTuber and Strictly star Joe Sugg.

“Albert’s first book went well and I’m delighted to be returning to my old land to sign copies of Albert’s new book,” Ian said.

“This is a dream come true for me. It was a pleasure to visit the store and I hope to return very soon to sign more.”
