Ventriloquist and Scarface Debut in New Gotham Photos

Even though we’re all pretty geeky for what’s sure to be a pivotal episode of Gotham airing later tonight, “Ace Chemicals,” the time will soon come for us to turn our attention to next week’s episode. And from what we can tell, it will live up to its title, which is “Nothing is shocking.”

For starters, it features the debut of the Ventriloquist and Scarface, who we were led to believe were cut from the final season. Then again, executive producer John Stephens and company likely found a way to bring the inseparable duo into the saga once they got two more episodes.

No matter how you slice it, this is the first time we’ve seen them in live action – and it’s pretty exciting, if you ask me. But curiously, the actor used for the Ventriloquist is that of Andrew Sellon, as you can clearly see in the gallery below. If you recall, he played Mr. Penn, a character who was killed off not too long ago.

Then again, we’re talking about a show known for its surprise resurrections and twin reveals. Taking that into account, Mr. Penn might already be back from the dead, or we’ll meet his brother soon. If neither of those scenarios come true, he just might have a lookalike in town named Arnold Wesker.

For more on “Nothing’s Shocking,” be sure to check out the official synopsis:

Bullock’s past comes back to haunt him when he and Gordon investigate two murders in Sirens. Meanwhile, Bruce and Alfred explore the tunnels beneath the city, and Penguin and Nygma’s escape plans are thwarted by the least likely suspects in GOTHAM’s all-new “Nothing’s Shocking” episode airing Thursday, February 28 (8 :00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Gotham airs Thursday nights on Fox.
